Pine Ridge Cabin is a single story cabin with a loft that sleeps up to 9 to 11 people depending on how much space you need in bed. It sits on almost 5 acres of wooded land which allows you to explore the forest and the wildlife around the cabin.

ABOUT THE OWNERS
We live in Flower Mound, Texas with 2 children and a yellow lab, "Bo."
Growing up we both went camping with the families. Although we grew up in 2 different countries, we knew when we met that exploration in nature will be a big part of our life together. We started with a tent and camping gear as a young couple. Then we had our daughter, and decided to buy a small used pop-up camper from a friend of ours. As the family grew, we sold the camper and purchased a larger camping trailer, which
we used for local camping trips.
We have been to many places together, but we always talk about the beautiful nature we saw when we
traveled to Arkansas right after we got married. We purchased this cabin for us as well as others like you
to provide opportunities to engage with nature, and have a wonderful time with your friends and family
making long lasting memories with them.

ROOMS
The cabin has 3 main sleeping areas.
The master bedroom is a loft with
a full bathroom attached.
There are 2 bedrooms downstairs.
One has a full-over-full bunk bed with
a twin trundle, and is next to a full bathroom. The other is a sun room that
is converted to a bedroom.
The bed is a twin size day bed that slides out to a king size bed.
The sofa in the living room can also be used for sleeping (full/queen size sleeper).

FAQ
COVID-19 - Cleaning
We are blocking 3 calendar days or minimum of 48 hours between each check-out and check-in. Our cleaning lady waits for 24 hours before entering the property, and she opens the windows to air out the space. In addition to regular cleaning, she disinfects places and things people touch from something small such as pens, knobs, remotes, light switches, to something large such as chairs, tables, sofa, etc. A bottle of hand sanitizer is also available.
COVID-19 - Symptoms
If you have any symptoms or tested positive prior to arrival, please do not come until you test negative after 10 days of quarantine. Your reservation website may not give you 100% refund, but we will do our best to give you a full refund. If you start having symptoms or test positive after staying at our cabin, please notify us as soon as possible.
COVID-19 - Cancellation
If you need to cancel your trip due to COVID-19 positive test results or exposures, we completely understand.
The reservation websites may no longer give 100% refund, but we are willing to work with you, and find a way to make this work.
Boats
Mountain Harbor Resort & Spa is the closest one to rent a boat, canue, etc., and it's 10 min from the cabin. For other marinas in the area around the lake, please visit http://www.lake-ouachita.com/marinas.
For those you want to bring your own boat, there is a wide open space in front of the cabin, which can probably fit 5 to 6 cars. However, the drive way to the cabin is pretty steep, and the turn is pretty tight. We have had many guests bring their own boat, but you will have to be able to steer it well to successfully park or exit the property.
Airports
The cabin is located 30 min from the Memorial Field Airport in Hot Springs, and
1 hour 30 min from the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, AR. There is no Uber or Lift service available.
Hiking Trails
There are many trails around the lake, but the closest entrances are:
Charlton Trail (5 min drive)
Lake Ouachita Vista Trail (5 min drive)
Denby Point to Tompkins Bend Loop Trail (10 min drive)
Vista Trail is a long one you can pick and choose where to hike on. Also, look out for our posts on FB for newly tried trails by us!
Getting to Bath House Row
Drive to the main area of Hot Springs is about 30 to 40 min drive.
Grill
The grill we have is a Oklahoma Joe's the Highland Offset Smoker. It uses charcoal, and you will need to bring your own (sometimes previous guests leave theirs).
Firewood
We provide firewood for the fire pit. Contact us if you need more, and we will have our cleaning lady deliver more as long as she is available.
